The DRM Reset Tool can fix protected media file playback issues on Windows based computers following a repair of the computer. The reset tool is designed to work on systems that have passed WGA product validations only. The DRM Reset tool will not enable playback of protected content, or media requiring commercial CODECS on computers that have not passed WGA validations.
